EdgePulse condition monitoring sensors

EdgePulse is a condition monitoring sensor with on-board artificial intelligence, designed for industrial and mobile machines. It is mounted directly on the point to be monitored (motors, generators, pumps, fans, gearboxes, arms and moving axes) and turns vibration, movement, orientation and temperature into immediately usable information.

All processing takes place inside the sensor: no cloud and no dedicated infrastructure are needed, and the gateway is optional. Health score, fault class, operating state and absolute angles are published on the existing machine bus, ready for the PLC, the plant SCADA or the OEM telemetry system.

What it does

• Anomaly detection: health score, fault class and trend for early detection of faults in motors, bearings, impellers and rotating parts
• Operating state recognition: machine stopped, working or travelling, with no manual configuration, plus counting of actual operating hours
• Absolute orientation: roll, pitch, yaw and heading with no manual 0° zeroing
